Kai Anderson (They\/Them)<\/strong> is a non-binary composer, sound designer, and performer working in Lincoln, Nebraska. They graduated with a BFA in Musical Theatre from Florida Southern College in December 2022. They have been composing for musical theatre since they graduated from high school in 2018, and performing since childhood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kai has worked variously in theatre as a performer, sound designer, lighting designer, and general technician. Some of their personal favorite projects include As You Like It <\/em>at Florida Southern College (KCACTF Division IV: Sound Design Nominated with Dakota Ruiz), Carrie: the Musical<\/em> at Florida Southern College (Assistant Music Director, Assistant Sound Designer), and Next to Normal<\/em> at Polk State College (Gabe Goodman).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a Composer, Kai has written original music for several projects, including the aforementioned As You Like It<\/em>, a student production of Stop Kiss<\/em>, several theatre and video projects, and, of course, Liza Battles the Instruments of Destiny<\/em>. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
